Belle Époque surprise – Great fund raising tour for our No. 1

An illustrious selection of travellers from all over Switzerland enjoyed a trip across Graubünden with steam engine No. 11 “Heidi” during the weekend September 28/29, 2019. It was travelled in style, eaten and drunken, enjoyed, laughed, listened to saloon music and at the same time money was collected properly for RhB steam engine No. 1 “RHAETIA”!

The Association Steam Friends of Rhätische Bahn had offered their members a two-day trip, with overnight stay at Hotel Schatzalp high above Davos. A perfect arrangement, for which about 50 club members had registered.

Apart from the trip with “Heidi” the project group “RHAETIA” was presented symbolically with two wonderful cheques at Samedan and Davos Platz, the amounts of which will go into the fund raising for “RHAETIA”. At Samedan 1.889 CHF were received from Raiffeisenbank Engiadina / Val Müstair and at Davos Platz 25.000 CHF from the Regional Association Prättigau / Davos.
