Buendner Office for Preservation of Monuments supports RHÆTIA

Per end of the year the Office for Preservation of Monuments Graubünden has announced to support financially the ambitious restoration project RHÆTIA.

 As mentioned by the preservation office in their statement, RHÆTIA is not only one of the oldest locomotives of Switzerland but in addition to this it is a unique case in Switzerland that a railway company owns a complete composition of the founder years – ending 19th century - , comprising locomotive, two passenger coaches and one baggage car.

 The preservation office will participate in the financing of the actual restoration cost with 20% and highly recommends the project to other supporters.
